Description
Painting the ocean is my favorite subject. The dramatic cliffs at Lovers Cove in Monterey are a wonderful contrast to the blue ocean. The changing sea is accented by the strong, permanents of the cliffs. Of course in time, the ocean will alter even the strongest rock. I painted the dark cliffs just as the morning sun was hitting the top edges.
